Encoding with Sonic Cinevision

Okay I want to do my first encode with Cinevision the material is correct NTSC 1920 x 1080 23,98 frames progressiv scan mode. I am just taking a look at the options there is a tab, that is called 3D. In this one you can change the 3D preview and display type. Just for me to understand it, this has nothing to do with the actual encodeing of the material correct ?
